The single most critical component in assuring 100% system availability is the
reliability of the powering system. As systems age, power supply integrity is
the most effected. Electronic circuits can last indefinitely, but power
supplies degrade quickly with age. Soon, reliability becomes an issue and
finding spare parts becomes a problem, especially with legacy control systems

or Infi90® systems, and those
customers contemplating a Bailey system upgrade to the Invensys®
I/A Series® system, PCS has developed
a non-stop power system that replaces all current and legacy powering
systems. The PCSPMU01 power supply offers fully redundant power modules
with hot-swap capability. It also sports a dual AC source power feed. The
combination of dual AC source and redundant power modules ensures that no
single fault in the power infrastructure will cause a loss of power to your control
system.
