"Customer Notification
SPEC200/SPEC200 Micro Withdrawal from Sale
March 1, 2007
"Invensys is committed to ensuring that our customers and employees are
kept current on issues that might affect or improve system operation. We are
dedicated to focusing on product, application and service availability and
reliability.
"The purpose of this message is to inform you that Invensys has
withdrawn SPEC200/SPEC200 Micro from sale and has moved it to the Mature Phase
of its lifecycle."
Mature Phase Support:
- SPEC200/SPEC200 Micro Software Support: IPS will provide corrections for
Standard SPEC200/SPEC200
Micro Software for one year after it is withdrawn from sale for warrantee
issues only. At the one-year
withdrawal anniversary, the software code is archived and will be modified
only if there are extended warranty
issues or Code A1 or A2 safety problems.
- Existing Project Expansions: Sale of Mature products to existing
installations will be considered on a per
project basis; however, no guarantee is made that new or refurbished
material will be available. In the case of
nuclear installations, nuclear marketing will make these decisions in
conjunction with support from Supply
Chain to be certain we can continue to support all customers during the 10
year Mature Phase.
